Lawn Fawn and Scrapbook Adhesives

Hi Friends

I hope you are doing well and enjoying your week so far.  Lawn Fawn is partnering with Scrapbook adhesives to show how well the products work together.

I don't know about you, but I adore having dimension on my cards. I think it just adds so much interest.  And it's less bulky that ribbon, so it doesn't impair the mailing the way ribbon, buttons, or other embellishments might.

So I am in full blown Christmas mode, and I am sharing another Christmas card I made for this partnership.
Here's what I came up with:
You can see I used Winter Fox which is such a sweet stamp.  I coupled her with the woodgrain backdrops and some sequins. I also used the Lawn Fawn Circle Stackables and Scalloped Circle Stackables for this project.
Here's a side view so that you can see the dimension a little better.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.

Lawnscaping Challenge 72

 Hi Friends
I'm late in getting my post up again...

I'm posting to share the newest Lawnscaping Challenge.  This is a color inspired challenge, and these cool colors are perfect for the winter-like weather a lot of the US is enduring (Certainly us in Indiana with our 6 inches of snow and bitter temps)

I decided to make a little gift pouch to hold a gift card for this challenge.  Here's what I came up with:

I used Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends, Peace Love and Joy Paper and sequins.  I added some silver Thermoweb spray to give it some sparkle, but it's so hard to capture in the photograph.

Lawn Fawn is sponsoring this challenge, so be sure to play along. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Be sure to check out the Lawnscaping blog to see the amazing inspiration from the design team.

Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons

Hi Friends

I hope you are enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.  Today, we are featuring “Love You Tons.”

This is a super cute mini set. Here’s what I came up with:

DSC_0007

I used the heart from the set to create a background for my elephant couple.  I added some Pink Lemonade Cord as a bow for the girl in the couple.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see the projects created by the design team.

Lawn Fawn Quinn’s ABC’s

Hi Friends

It’s another day of Lawn Fawn features, and today I get to feature Lawn Fawn’s Quinn’s ABC’s Lawn Cuts.  I am so glad that they decided to come out with Lawn Cuts for these letters.  You can easily make your own foam letters along with many other fun projects.

Here’s what I came up with:

DSC_0020

For the gift bag, I used some sparkly foam paper and cut the letters. This stuff was so great because it was adhesive backed, so I could just peal and stick them on the bag!  I added the ampersand with some Peppermint Lawn Trimmings.

The next project, I am sticking with Christmas projects:DSC_0032

I had these cute burlap bags, and I decided to cut the letters out of felt and stitch them on with some twine.  I also stamped the holly from Bows and Holly and cut it out and attached it but kept the stamped image on the back side. I did some French Knots to add the berries.

I made a little gift tag to go with it and used Winter Gifts.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with using some other new Lawn Cuts that are being released.

Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and blessings

Lawn Fawn: Science of Love

Hi Friends,

Happy Monday!  I hope you enjoyed a good weekend.  Lawn Fawn is having a mini-release, and we’re featuring projects from the new products!  Today, we are featuring projects using the new stamp set:  Science of Love. Here’s what I came up with:

DSC_0004-2

I used the nerdy birds from the set.  I colored them with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents to make the glasses look like glass.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t photograph well.  I paired them with papers from Into the Woods and Peace Love and Joy.  (I love patterned paper).

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn Blog to see other projects from the design team.  Oh, and I’m sure there’s a give away from Lawn Fawn, so go check it out.

Hugs and blessings!

Lawnscaping Challenge 71

481507_10200455529456612_1612805950_n
Hi Friends
I hope all everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving (for those of us in the US).  We had a very lovely holiday. We hosted Carlin’s parents, my mom, brother and nephew.  This was the first time having people over to our new house.  I was a little nervous about all of it, so we did a lot of cleaning/unpacking (and just hiding some boxes). We’ve done a pretty good job getting things unpacked, but there are still some lingering boxes.
I also put up our Christmas decorations because I wanted our new home to be festive for Christmas.  So it’s been a busy weekend.  I’m grateful for the long weekend because I needed all the time to get everything done.
I’ve also been able to do some crafting since we’ve moved. I’ve got a much bigger craft space in the basement which I am thoroughly enjoying. And today, is a new Lawnscaping Challenge.
This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous online vendor, Simon Says Stamp.
SSS_09_2103_zpsc2c6b992
We are focusing projects that feature tags for this challenge. This is timely considering Christmas is coming fast. Here’s the project that I made for the challenge.  Not only can tags be used on gifts, but they are a great addition on our cards.  For my project, I decided to make a tag to go with a pillow box that I will use to package a gift.
Nette#71
I used the Lawn Fawn sets:  Into the Wood, Hats Off to You, and Tag You’re It. I also die cut the tree from the Trim the Tree lawn cuts.
Be sure to head over to the Lawnscaping Blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s projects. They are truly inspiring.  I hope you decide to play along.

More Christmas Projects

Hi Friends

I just love Christmas time. I love making projects for Christmas, from cards, to decorations to gift bags. So you will likely be seeing more of the Christmas projects for the rest of the year.

Here’s a card I created for Christmas:

DSC_0025

You can see that the card is super simple without a lot of bulk, so it is perfect for mass production and mailing.  It’s hard to see in the photo, but I did add some Stickles to have a little holiday sparkle on the card.

Thanks for stopping in. How are you Christmas cards coming along?

Lawnscaping Challenge 69

Hi All
24658_10200455523136454_428705973_n
Hi my friends
Boy, have I been a horrid blogger lately!  I am so sorry, I am grateful for you still stopping by.  We’ve had a lot going on lately.  I was traveling a lot, and then we moved.
For a while I didn’t even have my computer unpacked and set up.  How pathetic am I ? (If I didn’t own an iPad, I would’ve opened the laptop much sooner!)
Anyway, it’s time for a new Lawnscaping challenge, sponsored by our friends at Simon Says Stamp.

Simon Says Stamp Store Blinkie photo SSS_09_2103_zpsc2c6b992.gif

This challenge is about the sentiment being the focus of your card.  Being in love with the new Lawn Fawn papers, Into the Woods, I decided to use it for my project.

Lawn Fawn Trim the Tree

Hi Friends

It’s time for another Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.  (It will be here before you know it, so better to get planning now). Today, we are featuring projects that use the new Trim the Tree stamps and die.  Here’s what I came up with:

DSC_0106

DSC_0110

As you can tell, I made two different color schemes for the projects. I normally go for the bright colors, but I do like the softer colors and distressing of the second card.  I hope you like.

Lawn Fawn and Core'dinations

Hi Friends

I hope you are enjoying an amazing week and that you were able to wish Ms. Kelly Marie a happy birthday yesterday!

Today, I’m part of the Lawn Fawn and Core’dinations week long blog hop.

Core’dinations has super fun paper and gadgets to complement the paper.  I used some of the holiday paper that I sanded with the sanding gadget to come up with a Halloween card.

DSC_0099-1

I used the new Lawn Fawn Trick-or-Treat stamp set along with the Into the Woods paper, tag you’re it die, and the circle stackables die.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog and the Core’dinations blog to see the other projects.

Lawnscaping Challenge #65

11341_10200455514096228_2135690073_n

Hi Friends

I did it again. I am posting late.  The long weekend really messed me up.  I also took off on Friday for the inspection of our new home. Thankfully, it went well.  There’s so much going on right now, and I’m trying to keep up, I hope you remain patient with me and coming back to visit.

Anyway, yesterday marked the beginning of a new Lawnscaping Challenge. This one is to use your favorite things. This challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp

SimonSaysStamp_160x240

Some of my favorite things are to combine stamp sets (Lawn Fawn is perfect since they all fit together so nicely), and to use embellishments, and bling. And of course I love the new sets, so I decided to combine as many as I could.

DSC_0100

When I first saw the deer from Into the Woods, I thought he needed a  Santa Hat from Hats off to You. I put him with the bench and light post from Winter in the Park, a birdie from Winter Sparrows, sentiment from Winter gifts, and then embellished with Silver Sparkle Cord and Peace Love and Joy Sequins.  Lastly, I added some stickles to the snow to make it sparkle which is really hard to capture in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn: Woodgrain Backdrops+ Stitched Leaves Lawn Cuts

Hi Friends

I hope you are having a good day.  I’ve had problems getting my blog post up and going.  My computer kept locking up on me.

Today’s features are the new Woodgrain backdrops and Stitched Leaves Lawn cuts. These have arrived just in time for fall, not that you have to use them only in the fall because they are quite versatile. Here’s what I came up with:

DSC_0111

DSC_0114

DSC_0118

You can see they all have a similar feel to them… I was on a roll that day.  I thought the wood grain backdrops go so well with these gorgeous leaves that I couldn’t stop myself!  Plus, I adore autumnal colors.

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you haven’t already, go to the Lawn Fawn blog. Holy cow, there are some amazing creations that are sure to inspire you!

Lawn Fawn Into the Woods and So Thankful

HI Friends

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration.  Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog, the design team has created some amazing stuff using the Into the Woods paper and So Thankful stamp with new coordinating dies.

DSC_0097

I am in crafty love with the new Into the Woods paper and stamps, makes me look forward to autumn.  I have always been a fan of the So Thankful stamp set because pumpkins just go hand in hand with fall.  The new leaves die cuts make cutting those detailed leaves a breeze.  So I created a tree with them!

Thanks for stopping by.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration

Hi Friends

Happy Friday! I hope you are looking forward to a fun weekend.  What are your plans? The hubby and I are preparing to move (we move at the end of September). It’s very exciting but crazy busy!

Anyway, today kicks off the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration.  We are sharing Critters in Costume, and let me tell you this critters set is SO cute, you’re just going to love it.

Here’s my project:

DSC_0112

You can see that I couldn’t decide on which critter to use, so I just decided they’d have a party!  They are super fun to color, and there are so many fun options with them.

Be sure to head over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see the rest of the design team’s projects, they are AMAZING!

Lawnscaping Challenge

Hi Friends

Wow, where does the time go? It’s already time for a new Lawnscaping challenge, sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

1056_10152864506510313_897410979_n

This challenge is to use distress inks in your project.  As you can see, I went with a very CAS card.  I made a template using the hearts dies from Lawn Fawn and overlaid it on top of  my white panel. Then I used my distress inks to color in the hearts with different colors. I added some gems to incorporate a little sparkle on the card. The sentiment is from the new Lawn Fawn set, Happy Feast

Be sure to check out the Lawnscaping blog for more inspiration. I hope you decide to play along!

Lawnscaping Challenge

487565_10200455502335934_1301017637_n

Hi friends,

I am posting this SO late, and I apologize.  I’ve spaced it all week and remember when I’m already in bed.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp

SimonSaysStamp_160x240

As you may have seen the current challenge is to make a one layer card! Eeek this is certainly a challenge for me, I love layers on my cards.

I decided to break out one of the newest Lawn Fawn sets and get a jump on some Christmas cards.  For sending Christmas cards, thin and light are always better, so that I don’t spend a fortune on postage, so this challenge seemed fitting.

I decided to make a set of cards using, Peace Love Joy

DSC_0115DSC_0105

DSC_0107

DSC_0106

To create these cards, I cut a circle using the Lawn Fawn Circle Stackables, and put it in the center of a white 4 1/4 X 4 1/4 card base. Then I broke out the distress inks and distressed around the circle, so when I removed the circle, I had a white center. Then I stamped my images.  I added some stickles and faux white stitches.

I hope you will decide to play the Lawnscaping challenge!

Hugs and Blessings
