Lawn Fawn and Scrapbook Adhesives

Hi Friends

I hope you are doing well and enjoying your week so far.  Lawn Fawn is partnering with Scrapbook adhesives to show how well the products work together.

I don't know about you, but I adore having dimension on my cards. I think it just adds so much interest.  And it's less bulky that ribbon, so it doesn't impair the mailing the way ribbon, buttons, or other embellishments might.

So I am in full blown Christmas mode, and I am sharing another Christmas card I made for this partnership.
Here's what I came up with:
You can see I used Winter Fox which is such a sweet stamp.  I coupled her with the woodgrain backdrops and some sequins. I also used the Lawn Fawn Circle Stackables and Scalloped Circle Stackables for this project.
Here's a side view so that you can see the dimension a little better.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.

Lawnscaping Challenge 72

 Hi Friends
I'm late in getting my post up again...

I'm posting to share the newest Lawnscaping Challenge.  This is a color inspired challenge, and these cool colors are perfect for the winter-like weather a lot of the US is enduring (Certainly us in Indiana with our 6 inches of snow and bitter temps)

I decided to make a little gift pouch to hold a gift card for this challenge.  Here's what I came up with:

I used Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends, Peace Love and Joy Paper and sequins.  I added some silver Thermoweb spray to give it some sparkle, but it's so hard to capture in the photograph.

Lawn Fawn is sponsoring this challenge, so be sure to play along. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Be sure to check out the Lawnscaping blog to see the amazing inspiration from the design team.

Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons

Hi Friends

I hope you are enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.  Today, we are featuring “Love You Tons.”

This is a super cute mini set. Here’s what I came up with:

I used the heart from the set to create a background for my elephant couple.  I added some Pink Lemonade Cord as a bow for the girl in the couple.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see the projects created by the design team.

Lawn Fawn Quinn’s ABC’s

Hi Friends

It’s another day of Lawn Fawn features, and today I get to feature Lawn Fawn’s Quinn’s ABC’s Lawn Cuts.  I am so glad that they decided to come out with Lawn Cuts for these letters.  You can easily make your own foam letters along with many other fun projects.

Here’s what I came up with:

For the gift bag, I used some sparkly foam paper and cut the letters. This stuff was so great because it was adhesive backed, so I could just peal and stick them on the bag!  I added the ampersand with some Peppermint Lawn Trimmings.

The next project, I am sticking with Christmas projects:DSC_0032

I had these cute burlap bags, and I decided to cut the letters out of felt and stitch them on with some twine.  I also stamped the holly from Bows and Holly and cut it out and attached it but kept the stamped image on the back side. I did some French Knots to add the berries.

I made a little gift tag to go with it and used Winter Gifts.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with using some other new Lawn Cuts that are being released.

Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and blessings

Lawn Fawn: Science of Love

Hi Friends,

Happy Monday!  I hope you enjoyed a good weekend.  Lawn Fawn is having a mini-release, and we’re featuring projects from the new products!  Today, we are featuring projects using the new stamp set:  Science of Love. Here’s what I came up with:

I used the nerdy birds from the set.  I colored them with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents to make the glasses look like glass.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t photograph well.  I paired them with papers from Into the Woods and Peace Love and Joy.  (I love patterned paper).

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn Blog to see other projects from the design team.  Oh, and I’m sure there’s a give away from Lawn Fawn, so go check it out.

Hugs and blessings!

Lawnscaping Challenge 71

Hi Friends
I hope all everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving (for those of us in the US).  We had a very lovely holiday. We hosted Carlin’s parents, my mom, brother and nephew.  This was the first time having people over to our new house.  I was a little nervous about all of it, so we did a lot of cleaning/unpacking (and just hiding some boxes). We’ve done a pretty good job getting things unpacked, but there are still some lingering boxes.
I also put up our Christmas decorations because I wanted our new home to be festive for Christmas.  So it’s been a busy weekend.  I’m grateful for the long weekend because I needed all the time to get everything done.
I’ve also been able to do some crafting since we’ve moved. I’ve got a much bigger craft space in the basement which I am thoroughly enjoying. And today, is a new Lawnscaping Challenge.
This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous online vendor, Simon Says Stamp.

We are focusing projects that feature tags for this challenge. This is timely considering Christmas is coming fast. Here’s the project that I made for the challenge.  Not only can tags be used on gifts, but they are a great addition on our cards.  For my project, I decided to make a tag to go with a pillow box that I will use to package a gift.

I used the Lawn Fawn sets:  Into the Wood, Hats Off to You, and Tag You’re It. I also die cut the tree from the Trim the Tree lawn cuts.
Be sure to head over to the Lawnscaping Blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s projects. They are truly inspiring.  I hope you decide to play along.
