Happy Friday

Hi Friends

Happy Friday, I hope you had a great week. Do you have any fun weekend plans?  I'm quite excited about this weekend.  I have a very good friend visiting me this weekend. She arrives this afternoon, and I couldn't be happier.  I'm still trying to work out the fun things for us to do. I want to take her to my favorite places and give her a great flavor for the fabulous city of Indianapolis. She lives in San Diego and hasn't spent time in the midwest before.  I definitely want to make it count.

I thought I'd share a Lawn Fawn card today, just because. It's been a while since I've posted just because, and I miss it.
I used the new Lawn Fawn set, Let's Roll, and coordinating Lawn Cuts.  This set is so much fun even for us non-sushi lovers.  Lately, I've been on a kick of cutting out sentiments.  I'm not sure why or how I started this, but I do love highlighting part of the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: You Float My Boat

Hi Friends

I hope you are having a great week.  The Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues today as we feature projects using the You Float My Boat stamp set and coordinating Lawn Cuts.

I went with a clean and simple design and used some more of that fun twine from the Twinery.

This is a super cute set that would be perfect for making projects for the men (or boys) in our lives. I know sometimes that is a challenge for us.   (But the set would not be limited to only cards for boys, don’t get me wrong!)

Be sure to head over to the Lawn Fawn blog if you’ve not done so already. You are sure to be inspired by the rest of the design team’s projects, and there are chances for some fabulous prizes.

Lawnscaping Challenge

Hi Friends

A new Lawnscaping challenge starts today, and this one is for clean and simple projects.  This fabulous challenge is sponsored by Lawn FawnLawnFawnLogo

As I’ve been crafting longer, my style has gotten much more clean and simple than when I initially started.  This challenge was right up my alley.  Here’s what I came up with.(You may have seen this on the Lawn Fawn blog during Inspiration Week)

DSC_0104

I used the new Lawn Fawn set, Happy Trails.  I did use the smiley faces from Let’s Roll to give the trees some personality.  I added some glossy accents and black ranger ink to add a little dimension.  When I do clean and simple, I like to add a touch of something to make them a little more interesting.

I hope you decide to play along with us. Be sure to head to the Lawnscaping blog to for more inspiration and get details on the challenge

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week (Lawn Fawndumentals)

Hi Friends

Don’t you love the weekend? I hope you have a great one?!

Lawn Fawn’s inspirational week continues today, and we are featuring the Lawn Fawndumentals note cards. I decided to make a set of cards for today. Here’s what I came up with:

Now for the cards individually…

I’m thinking this may be a fun gift idea for someone. I used the Stitched Journaling Card to die cut the Hello Sunshine Aurora paper.  I used some of the new Lawn Trimmings along with some other die cuts and stamps.

Be sure to stop over at the Lawn Fawn blog to check out the design team projects and to sign up for a chance to win some great prizes.

Lawn Fawn and Timeless Twine

Hi Friends

I hope you had a great weekend.  Mine was so nice but far too short.

This week, Lawn Fawn and Timeless Twine are joining up to share some projects and show how well these two work together.

Here’s the project I came up with:

DSC_0016

It’s a simple card, but I wanted to keep it that way so that it could be used for a man (even though I did put some sequins on there… couldn’t help myself).

I used the new Lawn Fawn stamp set Float My Boat and coordinating Lawn Cuts set along with some sequins from Hello Sunshine.  I paired it with the Firecracker Aqua Blue and Cherry Red twine from Timeless twine.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Hi Friends

Happy Monday!  It’s time for a new Lawnscaping challenge here at the blog.  This challenge is all about sparkle and bling.  We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp

SSS_09_2103_zpsc2c6b992

And here’s what I created for the challenge.  I used a lot of the new Lawn Fawn products (Scripty Hello, hello Sunshine, Lawn Trimmings, and Sequins)

The clouds have some sparkle and dimension thanks to to some Michael’s adhesive foam that I die cut.

I hope you decide to play along. We all love a little bling. Be sure to go to the Lawnscaping blog for more inspiration and the details of the challenge.
