Easter wishes

Hi Friends

I hope you had fun with the Lawn Fawn inspiration week.  As you know, Easter is upon us.  I made some cards to send out to friends and family. I thought I’d take some time to post on the blog in the coming days.

I  colored with colored pencils and gamsol which I am really becoming a fan of using.  It’s so nice because I can make single layer cards with no bleed through! I still love my Copics, but I am happy to be broadening my coloring horizon!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration week

Hi Friends

Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues today as we feature products from the new mini set “Dream.”

Feathers are so trendy now, and this set is a Lawn Fawn cuteness take on the trend.  Here’s what I came up with:

I colored with my Copics and blended the blue and green together. I really like the effect it created. I combined it with the polka dots paper and sequins.

It’s me again!  Do you have fun weekend plans?  I’m going to spend the day and evening with a couple of wonderful friends. I’m really looking forward to a girls’ getaway.

Today, I’m featuring projects from the Lawn Fawn and May Arts match up.  I love both companies and putting them together is so much fun.

Here’s what I came up with:

Hi Friends,

I am super late in posting this.  I’m posting for the current Lawnscaping challenge sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.

The current challenge is to try a new technique.  I’ve been wanting to color with colored pencils and Gamsol.  I have had some colored pencils in the past, but they were not very good quality.  I finally invested in some Prisma colored pencils, and the difference is amazing.  Here’s what I came up with for the challenge:

I used the Lawn Fawn sets:

Happy Trails

Harrold’s ABC

Milo’s ABCs

Hope you play along and use this challenge as a reason to try a new technique you’ve been wanting to try. Be sure to check out the Lawnscaping blog for all the details.

Hugs
