Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather and Thank you Tags

sweaterweather_LynnetteKauffman

Hi Friends
I hope you’ve had fun during Lawn Fawn inspiration week.  Sorry that my posts are late.  My internet went down Tuesday night and then again Thursday morning, so I was out of luck when I wanted to post.
Better late than never, I hope.  Here are my projects:

When I first saw this set, I was enamored. I love fall, it’s my favorite season.  Then I thought about using it to make a set of cards, one for each season, so that’s how I got to this set.  I used the new Woodgrain note cards which pairs so well with this set.
I also have projects for Thank You Tags:

It’s not a secret that I love patterned paper, so I went crazy making these cards using the new Thank You Tags set. It goes so well with other stamp sets. I wanted to use only the featured stamps, so I went all out with the patterned paper.
I’d love to know what you order from this new release.

Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather Collection

Hi Friends

I hope you had a fabulous weekend. They go by so fast.  We had a nice relaxing weekend.  I was able to spend time crafting which is always nice.

I was playing with the new Lawn Fawn goodies from this current release and just love them.  Today, we are featuring projects using items from the new Sweater Collection line which are perfect for fall!

Here’s what I came up with:

I used the new hillside borders to create panel on the new woodgrain cards.  I used the Tag and Thanks Lawn Cuts along with leaves from the Sweater Weather leaves Lawn Cuts

Lawn Fawn Monster Mash

Hi Friends

I hope you have been having a great weekend and are enjoying the Lawn Fawn inspiration week.  This release is so full of awesome stuff.  Today we get to feature the new set “Monster Mash.”  This set is super cute and fun. It is so cute and fun, I know you are going to love it.  I decided to go with birthday themed cards.  I have a couple to share with you today.

Lawn Fawn Forest Border

Hi Friends,

Happy Saturday!  Don’t you love the weekends? (Duh, right?)  This weekend is extra fun because it’s Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and I know you are all excited about the upcoming release.

Today, we are featuring the new Lawn cut, Forest Border.  I went with a project featuring only the border, so it’s pretty minimalist. In fact, I have two projects, the first I wasn’t crazy about, so I made another that I like a little better.  Here they are:

You can see, the card is a little plain. I’m all for clean and simple, but this seemed to need something more. After thinking about it a little bit, I came up with this one:

I am much happier with this project.  I used the textured woodgrain paper. I also added some details with my wink of stella pen and a strip of patterned paper from the Sweater Weather 6X6 pack (the border is cut from this as well on both projects).

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to head to the Lawn Fawn blog where the design team has created some really amazing projects.

Lawnscaping Challenge #88

HI Friends

I’m a bit late posting my project for the newest Lawnscaping Challenge.  This challenge features incorporating texture into your project.

This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn. The winner will get the stamp set of their choice, yay!

I decided to do something a little different for this challenge. I had a mini album covered in burlap, so I decided to decorate the cover with additional burlap. Now, I just need to scrap some pages within the album!

As you can see, I didn’t stamp at all, but I used several Lawn Cuts for this project (Quinn’s ABCs, hearts, tags)

We hope you decide to play along with this super fun challenge.

Lawn Fawn and Add a Little Dazzle

Add A Little Dazzle

Hi Friends

Lawn Fawn is joining up with Add a Little Dazzle for a fun blog hop.  The projects have been posted all week long, and today is my turn to join in on the hop.

Here’s what I came up with:

I thought the shiny Dazzle metal sheets would make for a fun birthday card.  I also added some Lawn Fawn sequins to complete the look.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

W Plus 9

Hi Friends

How is your week? I hope you're enjoying it

If you've visited my blog at all, you know I love Lawn Fawn. Their cute and whimsical stamps are just what stamping is about, fun and happy.

I am also in love with WPlus9 stamps.  The style is so different, so they fill an different crafty need. These geometric triangles are so versatile,  I think these are particularly great for male cards.

One common denominator that is a huge factor in my shopping is that both of these companies offer amazing customer service. They go above and beyond in helping their customers. For me, that goes a long way in creating customer loyalty.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hugs and blessings

Set of Dreams

Hi Friends
It's no big secret that I've been neglecting my blog.  I'm trying to rectify that.

I had a job that was really stressful and required me to travel quite a bit. It was great experience, and I met a lot of fabulous people.  But the job just interfered so much with my personal life, and I needed to make a change.  I have been blessed to be able to find a new job that won't have much travel at all, and should be less stressful.  I've only been there a month but am optimistic about how the job will work with my life.

I hope to be more engaged in church and with my blog.  So I thought I'd try to re-ignite some of my blogging by posting some projects today.

I made a set of cards using the Lawn Fawn mini set, Dream

I have a friend whose birthday is this week, and she loves it when I give her homemade cards to have on hand to send when needed.  I thought this little set might be good to add to her birthday gifts!

Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings

Lawnscaping Challenge

Hi friends
It's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge. Most kids are either back in school or on their way, so this challenge is all about going back to school. It's sponsored by online retailer, Simon Says Stamp who will give the winner a $25 shopping certificate.
We don't have children (other than our precious 4 legged fur-babies), so I don't have a big need for school themed cards. Thus, I decided to go with something that could be used for multiple purposes.  Here's what I came up with:

Be sure to head to the Lawnscaping Blog to check out the design team projects. I sure hope you decide to play along!
